Olympic Day & Adult Party

Hello Elm Park,

I hope you’ve all passed by the pool lately to cool off; with this hot weather comes a ton of fun activities at Elm!

General:

  • Here at Elm Park, we love putting together events for the kids. However, this Friday, July 12th, come join us for an evening that’s all about you: the parents! Our annual Adult Party will be taking place at 9:00pm (must be 18 or older to attend).  Why not invite all your friends? The more the merrier!
  • Also, on Friday, July 12th, our annual Olympic Day fun day for the kids will be taking place beginning at 12:00pm. For an entry of only $5.00, kids will be able to participate in a host of fun activities, as well as receive a lunch including a slice of pizza, chips and a drink.
  • Due to unfortunate weather conditions last week, our Trivia Night had to be postponed. It will now be taking place on Saturday, July 13th at 7:00pm. At the same time, we will be hosting a supervised movie night for the kids so they can have their own fun too. We will show a “G” rated film in the chalet next to the pool at 530 Montcalm.

Swim Team:

  • Congratulations to all our swimmers for their incredible victory against Ecclestone last week! The final score was 570 for ELM and 471 for ECC. A great start to the season!
  • Our next meet, on Wednesday, July 10th, will be against Westminster and will be taking place at their pool! As always, please be there at 5:15pm.

Water Polo:

  • This week, our U12 and Boys’ U14 and U16 teams will be facing off against Forest Village at their pool on Tuesday, July 9th. Warm up for the first game begins at 5:30pm.
  • On Friday, July 12th, our U14 and U16 Girls’ teams will be playing at Westminster pool. Warm up for the first game begins at 5:30pm.

Diving:

  • Great job to all our divers for their performances this week! Our next diving meet will be on Thursday, July 11th at Glenmore with pre-junior warm-up beginning at 5:30pm.

Lastly, a big thank you to all the volunteers that have been helping out at our various events; we couldn’t do this without you!

See you all at the pool,

Elm Park Staff
