As we are busy getting ready for Time Trials hosted by Ecclestone Pool this Saturday, on behalf of the organizing committee, I am conveying the following message:
Our food banks are running low, and we want to make a significant donation of non-perishable food items to those in need. We kindly request that each participant bring a non-perishable food item to contribute to this cause. Let's come together and make a positive impact on our community.
The food items will be collected by On Rock Community Services and distributed to those in need in the West Island.
Thank you very much for your contributions to those less fortunate.

Nos banques alimentaires sont à court de fournitures, et nous voulons faire un don important d’aliments non périssables à ceux qui en ont besoin. Nous demandons à chaque participant d’apporter un aliment non périssable pour contribuer à cette cause. Rassemblons-nous et faisons un impact positif sur notre communauté.
Les aliments seront recueillis par On Rock Community Services et distribués aux personnes dans le besoin dans l’Ouest-de-l’Île.

Dear Participants, Swimmers, Volunteers, Sponsors, and Supporters,
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your participation in the Annual Jennifer Martin Swim-a-thon to benefit the Cody Michael Bouchard (CMB) Fund. Yesterday's event was an incredible success, thanks to your unwavering support and dedication.
Each and every one of you swimmers and participants proved to be a true inspiration, showcasing immense drive and determination. It was truly uplifting to witness the warmth and support that Elaine, Kyle, and Dave Bouchard received from the Elm Park Community and friends. Your presence and contributions made a significant impact, and we cannot thank you enough for that.
We extend a great BIG thank you to everyone who came together and demonstrated the remarkable spirit and strength we possess collectively. By making this event such a resounding success, you are directly helping the young adolescents battling cancer, supporting them as the true warriors they are. Your generosity and involvement make a difference in their lives, giving them the courage to face this disease head-on, and never alone.
We would also like to express our gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to ensuring the smooth running of the event. Mary, Donna, Vanessa, Keith, Catherine, Chad, Max, Marc, Nathan, + + and all the Elm Park staff, your hard work and commitment were indispensable. Without your help, this event could not have been accomplished.
Furthermore, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, Busy Mom of 3 (BM3), Pastamore, and Harvey's, for their generous contributions, and the city of DDO for loaning us extra tables and chairs. Your support has played a crucial role in making this event a reality, and we are immensely grateful for your partnership.

The improvement in air quality has allowed the City to lift yesterday’s smog advisory. We have reopened at 2:00.
Barring any unforeseen changes, Youth Club operations will resume tomorrow morning.

Hello Elm Park Members,
As you all come to the pool for the first time this season, you will immediately notice the beautiful fresh blue paint job and the crisp new lane lines - thank you DDO Recreation Dept. and LCS/Poseidon!
You may have also have recently noticed that our website has been completely revamped on a new, more mobile-friendly platform.
This redesign and migration work was accomplished by none other than our member Jon Gagné - thanks Jon!
Any temporary connection issues experienced during the recent transition to the new website should all be resolved now.
Please visit our new site now at https://elmparkpool.com and let us know what you think. There are still a few minor things that need to be completed or updated, but please send us your comments or suggestions in an email to info@elmparkpool.com

Vous avez peut-être également remarqué récemment que notre site Web a été complètement remanié sur une nouvelle plateforme plus conviviale pour les mobiles.
Ce travail de refonte et de migration a été accompli par nul autre que notre membre Jon Gagné - merci Jon!

Elm Park Annual Parade and Carnival - Saturday June 17th at 10:00 am
Hi Elm Park Members!
As we rapidly approach the beginning of the regular season, you and your families are invited to participate in one of our long-standing traditions, as we parade together with Captain Purple through the Elm Park neighbourhood and proudly show our passion for Elm!
Whether on foot, bike, rollerblades, or skateboard, put on your finest purple garb and join in the parade. Make sure you go all out in decorating your bike if you want to be the winner of the best decorated bike contest!
Please meet us at 10:00 am on Morningside (corner Devon), the street immediately behind the McDonald’s restaurant on St-Jean Boulevard. From there we will proceed down the 1.5 km route to arrive at Elm Park just in time for the Carnival fun that awaits us.
The BBQ will be fired up around noon for you to enjoy delicious hot dogs and hamburgers.
We look forward to seeing you all there and are excited for the season to begin!

Salut les membres d’Elm Park!
Comme nous approchons rapidement le début de la saison régulière, vous et vos familles êtes invités à participer à l’une de nos traditions de longue date, alors que nous défilons avec « Captain Purple » dans le quartier d’Elm Park et que nous montrons fièrement notre passion violette pour Elm!
Que ce soit à pied, à vélo, en patins à roues alignées ou en planche à roulettes, mettez votre plus beau costume violet et participez à la parade. Assurez-vous de tout faire pour décorer votre vélo si vous voulez être le gagnant du concours du vélo le mieux décoré!
Rendez-vous à 10h00 sur Morningside (coin Devon), la rue immédiatement derrière le restaurant McDonald’s sur le boulevard St-Jean. De là, nous allons continuer sur le parcours de 1,5 km pour arriver à Elm Park juste à temps pour tout le plaisir que nous réserve le carnaval.
Le barbecue sera allumé vers midi pour que vous puissiez déguster de délicieux hot-dogs et hamburgers.
Nous sommes impatients de vous voir, et excités pour le début de la saison!
